Speaking of Kristols

Charles Murray's 2009 Irving Kristol lecture at the American Enterprise Institute's annual dinner is well worth a read. Though somehow I doubt the Harvard faculty is going to be much different in 2020 than it is right now.

Yeah, that was some SERIOUS wishful thinking going on there. Smart guy, but wow, I mean, wow. It's like he thinks current beliefs are where they are because of scientific arguments, rather than because they were convenient to advance political and religious causes.
