Matt Welch can't understand why liberals are defending Chas Freeman, BFF to Saudi and Chinese oligarchs. "Remember," he asks, "when Saudi-bashing was a lefty thing?"

Yes, but that was when there was a Republican in the White House. Now that a Democrat is president, it's perfectly okay to appoint dictators' stooges. Hope and Change!

Shhh, don't tell our precious Interloper that his glorious Democrat Party is willing to abandon Human Rights. You know, the same Democrat Party that freed the slaves.
After all, we need the Chinese to buy our debt; isn't that right Bob "The Fiscal Conservative"?

The more one learns about Freeman, the more one needs to be concerned about this administration.

I passed the 'concerned' mark on the freaked-out meter a long time ago.

The only people I see livid over Freeman being named chair of the National Intelligence Council are members of the extreme, extreme Right. They're the sort who would happily give the Israelis carte blanc to wipe out the entire Muslim population of the Middle East. So, I don't think Freeman represents a departure from President Obama's usual moderation at all.

Obama's usual moderation--ROTFLMAO!!
