I'd like to know how the content of those ' racist jokes' compare with this by then presidential hopeful Obama,
"The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity, but that she is a typical white person..."
The reason is because Obama was not joking. And less than 15% across the country found him funny.

No one is as racist as Obama's spiritual advisor of 20 years, Jeremiah Wright. He harbors plenty of racial animosity.

?????
After reading the headline I was hoping that when I clicked I'd find a good racist joke or three about the Obamanator. :(

OMG, Crusader, you're crazy! LOL
So Sue Me| 3.4.09 @ 2:30PM
Oh come on...only fifteen percent of them were funny? I'm sure it's higher than that.

Absurd. In 50 years we have gone from a racially torn society, marred by discrimination, violence, lynching, white housewives spitting on little black school girls, etc., etc. to a truly diverse society.
So now what? The goal has to be to eradicate EVERY hint of racism. No innocent jokes that touch on race (excluding, of course, black comedians). Also, EVERY fringe wacko who does or says anything deemed racist must be held up as evidence that racism still exists - such as a moronic 'drunken negro cookie' baker in New York or some crazy old cat lady who put a 'no blacks' sign in her window. Can't we just ignore these people? Or, at best, offer them our pity, rather than pretend they're the second coming of Bull Conner and George Wallace.
Madness.

Eight years of Bush=Hitler and "Screw 'em" Kos but now I have to be PC?
dlw| 3.4.09 @ 4:47PM
lets here some jokes.... perhaps we can raise the 15% figure....
Peggy Barton| 3.4.09 @ 5:05PM
I wanted to hear some jokes too! This thing says, "SOME people admit to doing something incredibly GREAT, but only 15% of them really enjoy it! (And we're not going to tell you what it is...) Oh yeah? Get real. As a society we've been beaten into PUBLIC submission on this one, by years of PC propaganda and education...But privately? Think twice. Thank God for the Internet, where if you google something appropriate (make it up, or anything N-word-related) you can still find some humor. You sure can't find it in the mainline press, and even Jay Leno is still only telling jokes that have Bush (no longer the president, OK, so shut up) as the target. My only consolation is that as humor gets censored and has to go underground, it can generally get even nastier--and funnier--than it was before.

Racism is so yesterday.

>>>>Racism is so yesterday.
So is socialism. It hasn't worked anywhere. Somebody tell Obama,

if someone today rapes and murders a child, he can stand up before sentencing to say to the judge, "your honor, at least I'm not a racist". Then the judge replies,
"in that case, I hereby remove 1900 years from your 2000 year sentence. you shall be eligible for parole in the year 2080. Court is dismissed"
Roy| 3.4.09 @ 10:20PM
By the way, 1 in 6 = 16.67% which is pretty much 15%. So yeah, the same number of people told jokes as thought they were funny. Although I'm still missing the importance of any of this.

roy, me too.
