I hope the AmSpec survives and prospers. But really:
I'm sure that some on the far left would love the
AmSpec to die and I can understand why fear and
hysteria can drum up funds ... but who actually is proposing to
use the power of government to shut down a website?
Blah blah blah. Let's focus on that first sentence. "I hope the
AmSpec survives and prospers." Okay. I'm looking for
your donation... it's gotta be in here somewhere... In case it's

J. Peter Freire is contributing editor of The American Spectator. Freire first came to the Spectator as an intern and editorial assistant under a journalism fellowship from the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
