The Spectacle Blog

I dissect it at length in the Catholic World Report.

I am nearing 50. That means that I have seen a fair amount of life... possibly enough of it to understand that people who do what Kmiec has done are usually motivated by something other than what is plainly visible.

He is showing the symptoms of a man caught in a personal conundrum and has chosen the easy way out to justify his change.

Men fall, good men fall harder. The "seamless garment" of life is Lefty Catholic jargon for Liberation Theology. Some call it Social Justice Ministry and all of it is an odd form of Christic Marxism.

I would guess that if Mr. Kmiec were interviewed directly and honesty, his "belief" in the Magisterium of the Church would be a tad spotty.

Like the Heath Schuler's of the world he signed on to crew a barge on the river Styx... They might be nice folks and good crewmen, but in the end they are still pulling an oar for Satan.
