The stimulus bill passed the House 244 to 188, without any
Republicans voting in favor of it. No bipartisan cover for
President Obama, at least not yet.
I guess Obama was right: the House GOP is listening to Rush after
all!!!

Why didn't they do this during Bush's admin?
Bush ran up a bloated, fat, and obese governement
in spending. Better late than never, I guess.
I guess the Republicans finally got their balls back!

Just wait 'till it goes to the senate. RINO's are squishy over
there.

Outstanding!
No "bipartisan" cover for a trillion dollar welfare bill....

mack the knife,
Bush did his Thing to buy support for the war effort.
Mack, partly because the line "we're just supporting our
Republican President" gave the weak-knees in Congress a measure
of political cover.
That cover is now gone.
Also, some of them have probably figured out by now that being
Democrat-Lite just got them in trouble with the voters, so
they're gonna try being conservatives instead of "me too but not
so fast" lefties.
There's probably other reasons, but those are the two that pop
into my mind right now.

Thata way Republicans! It's about time some "Backbone" is shown
and a special "Thanks" to those eleven Democrats that said "NO"
also!!!!!! Can you imagine the amount of "Pork" that was added in
those 400 pages!!! Not including the basis of a thorough
"Highjacking" of this Country Economic Woes.....

you all make it sound as if a vote to balance the budget had just
been passed.
we are all Keynesians now, whether we like it or not.
