Romney's Eye On 2012

Mitt Romney released the following statement on today's March for Life:

“Today in Washington, many thousands of American women and men have proudly gathered on the National Mall for the March for Life.  In a city of many competing political interests, these marchers have come to speak for only one cause: the goodness of every life, and the rights of the unborn.

Thirty-six years ago, those rights were denied by our highest court, in a decision that also denied the rights of all Americans to resolve the abortion issue through democratic debate and legislation.  To their great credit, the organizers of the March for Life never let this anniversary pass without speaking to the conscience of America, and calling our nation to uphold its highest ideals in the protection of human life.

America owes these marchers a debt of gratitude for their  perseverance in a noble cause.  I am honored to count myself as their friend and ally.  And because of their dedication and their goodness of heart, I am certain that one day this cause will prevail. “

This chap, Romney, suffers from wonk and bore disease. The true conservative with fire in the belly resides in the governorship of Alaska. We need Gov. Sarah Palin (a.k.a. momma griz)

Romney passing himself off as a pro-lifer is like Obama passing himself off as a centrist. We don't need another RINO elitist (see McCain) to lead the GOP to defeat. Gov. Sarah Palin should be the overwhelming choice among conservatives come 2012.

Romney needs to get elected to some sort of office to see if he walks the talk. Oh, that's right he was a liberal Governor of MA and wasn't much of an ally at all.

No one has offered sufficient evidence that Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney are not the same shape-shifting entity, deployed by an advanced civilization from another galaxy for the purposes of infiltrating our government.

If and only if I see them at the same place at the same time, I will be prepared to believe they are human.

Sebastian --

I can't think of anything I'd welcome more than your appointment to the chairmanship of the RNC.

I ardently hope the Republicans run Palin in '12. Her favorability ratings these days are at W levels.

Jeremiah --

If nominated, I will not serve.

Of course, you refer to W's favorability rating immediately after 9/11 and his reelection in 2004. For which, I commend your for your prescience. Your generous donation to the Palin 2012 campaign is welcome and anticipated.

Ha ha, Sebastian, funny moniker. How long did it take you to come up with it?

I'll never never forgive Romney for dog-gate. What kind of a cold fish straps his dog to the roof of his car and then has a good laugh when the dog - probably quaking with fear - soils himself?

Not happy about that story.

Romney is a lot more conservative than McCain, and was our best choice.
