Yawn. The market will continue to seesaw for the foreseeable future as it has done for months. Anyone expecting the financial mess it took the Bush administration eight years to create to be solved a few hours after the election of a new president is delusional.

Happy Inauguration Day!

WendyG| 1.20.09 @ 5:26PM

That's gonna leave a mark. Too bad the "Bush's fault" excuse just flew to Texas!

Michael Roush| 1.20.09 @ 5:28PM

Interloper,
In fairness, the current economic mess is hardly the result of the Bush administration alone. Both parties contributed to the fiasco.

Kat| 1.20.09 @ 5:32PM

If and when the next terroist attack hits, (even years away),Interloper will still blame it on Bush. In his mind it's all Bush's fault and all conservatives are bigots. A true liberal.

Alan Brooks| 1.20.09 @ 7:01PM

so it was Bush who had ties to ACORN and certain bad mortgages in Chicago.

Interloper| 1.20.09 @ 7:16PM

Duh! There's actually someone daft enough to believe that ACORN caused the financial crisis?

Happy Inauguration Day!

ruth| 1.20.09 @ 8:30PM

Clean up the financial mess, Obama. You liberals caused it all.

Alan Brooks| 1.20.09 @ 9:17PM

DUH. and maybe Bush is to blame for the crisis. so he was commissar of the economy. economic commander in chief.

hey, hey, this is obama's market now. Where was the media today blaming obama on the big drop today. I guess obama and his lapdog media still thinks there is just one president at a time. That's right Obama, from now on, no one to blame but you.

Interloper| 1.20.09 @ 11:51PM

Hard to believe you all are still on this tip. Everyone else is partying. The Neighborhood Ball is tearing the roof off. Barack is getting down in his Tuesday best and Michelle looks stunning in white. Stevie Wonder just rocked the house with the Obama signature song "Signed, Sealed and Delivered."

Come on, Right Wingers. Get up, get down and get some lose. Make some noise!

Happy Inauguration Day!

The Stock Market has been doing the Obama Hiss since 11/05/08.

Steve| 1.21.09 @ 8:10AM

Interloper,

Unlike those of you on the left, most of us would never say of Mr. Obama "He's not MY president".
Most of us hope passionately that he does succeed, but are dubious based on the past facts.
If he is as successful as Ronald Reagan, then rest assured those of us who are conservative will be leading the cheers.

"Bush financial crisis?" When you are willing to recognize and understand the facts, (there is that nasty word again) then feel free to join the adult conversation regarding the economy. Until then, perhaps it 's best to keep your opinions to yourself, remembering the words of Speaker Reed (approximately):

" Every time he opens his mouth, he detracts from the sum of human knowledge"

By the way... what do you do for a living?
