For the first time since about 1991, I will say something good about David Vitter. His vote against Hillary Clinton today for Secretary of State should stand as a stark rebuke of every other member of the committee, including the usually stalwart Jim DeMint, who didn't have the guts (or the basic judgment) to oppose this corrupt, leftist, unqualified, and highly conflict-riven nominee. Vitter ought to retire rather than seek re-election in 2010 -- he won't -- but this stance, cosidering the 16-1 vote, was a profile in courage.

Knowing one is so compromised that it doesn't matter anyway, might really be a stretch as a profile in courage. It is all a show staged for a completely hoodwinked people who still believe they live in a representative democracy.

The RINO Party is just an imaginary entity provided to give the illusion of contrast to the authoritarian oligarchy.

There is very little difference in the end between elected Republicans and Democrats. We always move to the left.

Vitter was interviewed a few days ago by Laura Ingraham on her radio program. Not once did she mention his visits to prostitutes. A few days later day she castigated the woman who wanted to sell her virginity...
Vitter needs to join the Democrat Party in Louisiana so he can embarrass it.
