He may play a role in the fight against reinstating the Fairness Doctrine. Though if this is what Hill conservatives are telling David Freddoso, they must not be wildly optimistic about Norm Coleman’s chances.

Rush is right... Conservatives and GOP Conservatives need to quit looking for silver linings where there are none.

Al Franken's only gift to the US Senate will be to reveal the five minute too long six minute SNL skit that it has become.

The revenge of allowing the Dems/ ACORN to steal the Minnesota election (We won't go into the serious issues of Minnesota's collective sanity for voting to get him close enough to be able to cheat his way into the seat) is: [wait a beat]

Senator Al Franken... [rimshot here]

Animal House 2 - Senator Blutarski's Revenge?

We are now living in the "Age of Silly"... too bad the wolf is howling outside the unhinged gate.

I don't condone underhanded behavior, but when will republicans learn to fight? If there is one thing to admire about leftists, it's that they never, ever give up. They don't care who likes them or how they look, they never give in or give up.

The problem with too many republicans is that they want to be liked, which is a sure way to be disliked and disrespected. One of the most endearing qualities any politician can have is the willingness to always stand on principle and never compromise one's beliefs. We may despise the views of Ted Kennedy, but we admire his willingness to stand up for what he believes. If republicans would just stiffen their backbones and act on principle, all the time, people would flock to them. Remember, it wasn't conservatism that lost this year, it was republicanism, as typified by our nominee.

I would suspect that the biggest problem most Republicans suffer from is a moral code that prevents them from employing the bald-faced lying and cheating Dems willingly make the centerpiece of their playbook.

It's that Saul Alinski garbage, 'Do whatever it takes'. And the liberals do exactly that, with the help of the MSM, the demos media arm. We're going to have to do something, though, or we will lose EVERY close election.

Yeah, Franken had the same guy running his recount who stole the election for governor in Washington state in (2004 or 2006?) Democrats believe in counting until they win.

Man, you are right on , John@8;40! Fellow traveler LOSERS want to "call a sow's ear a silk purse" because they desperately need cover for their own complicity. They are still getting cover from the Frums, Brooks, Douthats, Noonans, Barnes, Parkers, and etc., of the pseudo-intelligencia.

Rush is also right when he says the GOP has been handed all kinds of opportunities of late, to obstruct, and explain, and educate, going into '10, but they are not taking advantage of them.

Alas, We are BETRAYED!

tfgray | 1.9.09 @ 5:39PM

Well, it's not like Franken had the Supreme Court stop the recount when he was ahead.
