Now that Obama is President, and Congress is a lock for the Dems, the Alarmists have dropped any pretense of scientific authority to thier claims on Global Warming.

Hansen, who holds a PHD in astrophysics, and and a senior scientist with Goddard has stepped way beyond his paygrade in advising Obama on sensitive political question. His actions, of course, belie the efforts many in the Global Alarmist's community that the entire issue of Global Warming is only about science.
