Christmas Carols

My favorite has long been "O Holy Night," of which there has been many fine renditions. Unfortunately, the song has also been performed by many people who... shouldn't.

There's an old Italian saying: E' bella ma non balla: she's pretty, but she can't dance. And it doesn't have much to do with knowing how to Foxtrot.

It's usually said when a very good looking woman is lacking some very important other quality:

While I admire, could you please stop talking? You're ruining everything.

It's not really a sexist thing, it can apply to men too.

William, it's Jessica Simpson, no relation to Bart. And it shows how one should pay attention to the meaning of the words one sings. can sing without paying attention to the words one sings. I may be wrong (but not here!), but I don't believe this song is supposed to be sung so ... seductively.
