The Spectacle Blog

Since this seems to be Undiluted Language Day at AmSpecBlog, I'm tempted to quote Rod Blagojevich's wife, but I'll let Michelle Malkin handle those honors.

I've coined a new term for profanity, female-style.

Pattymouth.

"Is that the same mouth you kiss the governor with?"

As the presiding tax and spend liberal today, I say they need to tie this guy up -- and his wife, if necessary -- and dump them off the side of a boat somewhere in the middle of Lake Michigan.

I'm sick to death of government corruption.

We've forgotten that the year 1789 was not all bad for the French, and there may yet still be uses for the guillotine.

Need there be a reign of terror? Not at all.

Consider the multiplying effect of CSPAN. Line up -- oh, I don't know -- 10 corrupt politicians and 10 CEOs from one of these "too big to fail" companies, and their families, and slowly lop off each head in front of the cameras for all to see.

By Monday morning I think you'd find the priorities of the wealthy and powerful returning to something ordinary work-a-day Americans ould recognize, and the killing could easily and without regret be stopped.

It's just a thought.

Jeremiah, you are a stand-up guy for blogging here today. I'm sick of corruption, too.
