Or liberal women, children, and other living things, for that matter. So far the criticisms seem confined to the left side of the blogosphere -- folks like Chris Bowers and Chris Hayes -- and not your average rank-and-file Democrat. But they are probably not the only people who believe, "Not a single, solitary, actual dyed-in-the-wool progressive has, as far as I can tell, even been mentioned for a position in the new administration."
The Democrats say Obamacare opponents are a mob. Are they right?

Presidential administrations are usually comprised of people who played a prominent role in previous administrations -- it's an easier vetting process, but it's also an assurance of executive competence. Unfortunately for progressives, there are very few who have this experience, and those that do are Clintonistas, whose cynical outlook they despise.

Has anyone noticed how little people on this blog have responded to this post? There is so much hate in the so-cons hearts that they cannot see that Obama is beginning to govern to the center, and not the left. (Just as I said weeks ago). He has moved towards people who are very intelligent (another reason so-cons don't like Obama), experienced, placed in their proper roles, and can get along with Congress (which hasn't been done since Nixon). Furthermore, he has accomplished this in record time.
Neither McCain or Palin (or for that matter Biden), have the mental horsepower to accomplish this. Besides, it is difficult to find really smart Republicans who want to work in the White House. (Let's give it up for Alberto, Harriet, and Brownie!!!)
As an aside, Larry Summers was the only macro-economic theorist who consistently warned about the housing bubble for the past 5 years. There was NO Republican economist who had a clue -- especially the ones chosen by McCain. It's nice to have someone there who understands the issue.
Now, Republicans (and especially so-cons), let's stop being anti-intellectual and bring smart young people in the party who can reason and not just believe.
