James Rainey, media writer for the Los Angeles Times, accuses
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and unnamed others of being "intent
on poisoning the soil before bipartisanship can take root."
One may
peruse an online catalog of Mr. Rainey's recent writings to
see what contributions he has made to bipartisanship lately, and
a quick perusal indicates these consist chiefly of cheerleading
for the Democratic campaign and mocking the Republicans.
Given that his specialty is media and not government, Rainey may
not fully realize that after Jan. 20, Republicans will have
virtually no ability to obstruct Obama, Reid and Pelosi in their
policies, and little ability even to influence the debate. This,
of course, is exactly the sort of soil in which Mr. Rainey's
brand of "bipartisanship" thrives. We shall see what fruits are
produced, and we will be certain who is responsible.
Mr. Rainey will no longer be able to blame every sundry nuisance
in the world on Republican malice, and he will have to find some
new scapegoat onto which to project his numerous hatreds. This
should provide an interesting spectacle, and Mr. Rainey's writing
will doubtless become an even richer source of amusement to Mr.
Limbaugh and his 20 million listeners during the Obama era.
"Bipartisanship" to liberals means Republicans must support the
Democrats' agenda.

"Bi-partisan" is just a more tactful term for OLIGARCHY under
which the craven, soulless, pragmatic surrender monkeys of the
Gay Old Party have placed us.
Wave "bye-bye" to the GOP! Wave "bye-bye" to the Republic...
1.) As if those listening to Rush are the types eager to embrace
bipartisanship for bipartisanship's sake anyway.
2.) Obama's campaign has repeated that he's bipartisan, that he
has worked on both sides of the aisle. He really hasn't, but at
least we know that their metric for measuring bipartisanship is
whether you can look a Republican in the eye.

I apologize, in advance, for the cross post.
There is a faction in this country that hates and fears freedom.
It hates and fears diversity. It hates and fears self-reliance.
It hates and fears the common man. And it is not the Conservative
movement nor the Republican Party. It is the liberal elite and
its stooges in the Democrat Party.
The Democrats have done everything in their power, since the
early 1900's to restrict the liberty of Americans. They are the
party of taxation, as a method of controlling the populous [that,
incidentally, led to the American revolution]. The party of
social welfare [another means of controlling the populous]. In
fact, since 1900, the Democrat party has not put forward a single
measure that would limit the intrusion of the government into the
life of the individual American citizen, except abortion. When
the liberal elite can not get their own way, they resort to ad
homenim attacks and character assassination on their opponents.
Bipartisanship has become a one-way street in this country. It
runs only from the right to the left, never the reverse. Liberal
and democrat ideas of bipartisan ship are simply the Republicans
going along with whatever the Democrats propose. It is time that
came to a stop. Or get comfortable with a continuation of the Go
Along-Get Along mentality among Republicans.
