Obama supporters are out in full force in northern Virginia this weekend. I found a flier asking me to vote for Barack Obama and Mark Warner on the door of my Fairfax townhouse yesterday. Today, Arlington’s streets are lined with sign-waving Obama fans. Drivers wave and honk as they pass by. “You guys don’t have to worry about Arlington County,” I said to one sign-waver as I walked by. “No,” he replied. “It’s all about getting out the vote.”
There was even an Obama supporter outside St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Clarendon. I looked very closely and it was not Doug Kmiec.

Don't expect my sympathies, I live in (egad!) California. I wouldn't be happy, though, if I saw one of his supporters standing outside my Catholic Church. Yesterday there was a huge rally for Yes on Prop. 8 (marriage) in my town--I pray it's going to pass. that's big!

Well, the pastor at St. Charles is a family friend of the Kennedys. Something always rubbed me wrong there. Given the Diocese of Arlington's conservative (orthodoxy, not political) leaning, St. Charles probably has the highest concentration of Obama supporters in its congregation than most of the other churches in the Diocese.

I'm not Catholic, but I just do not understand Catholics (and Jews for that matter) who will vote for Barack Obama.
I guess this is how Hitler came into power. I always wondered but here we have the perfect storm of corruption between the media, politicians, and even the judicial system.
That said: McCain/Palin '08!

Really? More supporters for Obama than McCain? Eeeewwwww! Has anyone (the priest) mentioned to the congregation that Obama supports infanticide? Must be something special in store for that priest. But of course only Our Lord knows that.

There is one huge difference between our current situation and pre-nazi Germany: we are Americans--not Germans.
