I don't know how to say this well at all;
And I am not good at this stuff at all, so forgive me for clumsy words:
Dean Barnett was family. Everytime "Chowda", giggled, it made us smile. What a joy he brought to my stupid 10 dollar radio as I listened to him on Hugh's shows as I walked my scotties in the neighborhood. It sounds so silly that when he laughed with that great joyful schoolboy giggle, I would giggle too. I was all so warm and wonderful. I feel stupid, because I never met the guy. I would have felt out of my class to ever talk to him somewhere/anywhere. (So you see how clumsy my words are ). But I truly believe that, had I been brave enough to have humbly introduced myself as a fan of his words in print, as well as his charmingly sweet nature and intellectual prowess when he took Hugh's mic, he would have given me a warm Boston welcome.
We all prayed for Dean. Our prayers were not answered. Such is life.
On the plus side, he is with God. I hope sitting closely and probably giving Jewish morning glories and evening graces to all that enter the rest. I truly will miss this wonderful man.
And to the Barnett family, we continue to keep you in our prayers and our hearts. You are not alone when it comes to prayer. I swear to you that every night I will pray for your family.
Again.... I am terribly clumsy with words, and I apologize if my words sound awkward.
But God Bless You and love you. May God keep you in Grace and Warmth.
All of my heart, love, and warm wishes today and forever,
Amen.
Most sincerely,
Michelle Marshall,
