Biden on Obama's Tax Plan

Jonathan Martin writes:

Gloomy Republicans are happy to get whatever slice of good news they can, and once again Joe Biden is the bearer of gifts.

"It should go to middle class people," Biden said yesterday in Pennsylvania of Obama's tax cut plan "People making under 150,000 dollars a year."

Oops.

Obama has repeatedly said it would be those making under $250,000 who would get relief.

Actually, Biden was being consistent. If you listen carefully, what Obama has said is that those making under $150,000 would get a tax credit and nobody making under $250,000 would see their taxes go up. Both claims can be true if those making between $150,000 and $250,000 see no change in their taxes. With that said, do I believe that, if elected, Obama will keep his word on taxes? Heh. About as much as I believe in the existence of three-legged ballerinas.

Dear Jonathan Martin: And of course you believe John McCain's claims as much as what - a one legged ballerina? What you have stated is a prejudice, and you're not even aware of it. A prejudice is not based on fact. I might agree with you that neither candidate is going to fulfill all of their promises, but I wouldn't only put Obama in that camp. McCain has stated so many contradictory positions, it's hard to know what he would do after he's elected. So that does make it hard to choose between the two candidates, doesn't it? Or are you secretly running Obama down to offer McCain as the shining knight on a white horse who tells the truth all the time and has the force of will to make it happen after he's elected?

mccain is the better commander in chief
obama is clueless in that regard
obama sides himself with ideologies of marxism, communism and socialism. all friends of his
mccain isn wishy washy on all topics
obamas ties to ayer need to come to a surface

mccain is best suited to be the president.
obama is too liberal to lead this country
obama has been going to a church that criticizes the same country he wants to run.
mrs obama is 'finally' proud to be an american? whats that all about?

They are both proposing Socialist policies. Everyone in this country needs to wake up and realize the following facts: 1. We know very little about Obama and what we do know is bad. 2. There are more than two candidates.

I love how people claim that people are socialist for how much people pay or receive on one day out of the year. Look at what socialism actually is. It's the way that people spend their lives everyday based on the values that everyone receives things equally, EVERYDAY. Obama is going to win, so get over it.
