Teflon Joe

Reading this Kirsten Powers column, about how Joe Biden commits gaffe after gaffe but gets a pass from our esteemed press corps, I can't help but wonder how long this will last. Sure, most of the media is willingly performing its role as adjunct to the Obama campaign now, but if Biden becomes Vice President, can he still say stoopit things constantly without attracting the universal mockery that he so richly deserves?

Most media pass Crazy Joe off as simply a goof. But this goof has heretofore been confined to the Senate. Put him on the world stage and those goofs could amount to something much more dramatic.

I still can't believe what he said about FDR and the Great Depression. Seriously, the guy scares me. He almost seems brain-damaged.

If Biden is that batty why are we worried about Palin? and she is supposed to be the reason McCain is losing

I agree; are they all tired? Poor McCain is so exhausted he accidentally says c*nt, but Biden's been this way for years; so he can't use that as an excuse, can he??? Maybe HE needed to suspend himself from the campaign.

Oh can you EVEN imagine if Palin said what Biden did???!!! It would be front page of every newspaper in the country! But of course the lefty illuminati MSM don't report on news if it doesn't support Obama!

We have to do what the so-called "mainstream" media did to Vice President Quayle with "potatoe". Every time we refer to Sen. Obama, it must be to Sen. Barack "57 states" or "spread the wealth" Obama, and so forth. He must always be named that way. Someone must hang a similar sobriquet on Sen. Biden. How about Sen. Joe "Patriotism is paying more taxes" Biden? (Might be too long.) Unfortunately, it's getting a little late now.

How about "expect a crisis within the first six months of Obama's presidency" Biden? And they pick on Governor Palin. God help us.
