LEESBURG, Va. --I'm on my way to an Obama event right now,
sitting in the passenger seat and stuck in bumper to bumper to
bumper traffic waiting to get off an exit ramp. The problem?
Instead of waiting their turn, some Obama supporters are riding
in the left lane, where traffic is moving briskly, and waiting
until right before the exit to cut in front of the rest of us.
Given the apeasement-based foreign policy positions of their
leader, it shouldn't suprise you to learn that the Obama
supporters are happily letting the rogue drivers cut in front of
them, further delaying the rest of us. Let's hope that this isn't
a preview of how Obama plans to negotiate with Ahmadinejad.
All the more ironic? That they're not all carpooling or using
mass transit. They could be "sharing the burden." Spreading it
out, you see.

That's a variation on what we call a "California merge. " Given a
half mile to merge, the California driver goes all the way to
where his lane stops or his exit starts, and then just stops in
the middle of the left lane. Drivers in the correct lane have to
allow the entitled driver in. If possible a passenger should be
available to put a hand out of the left window to signal that
everyone has to stop.
