Amnesty? How about American citizen amnesty....from the bailout bad guys? And if the illegals want amnesty, let them cough up $700 billion in income/Social Security first and then maybe we'll talk business. Otherwise, send them home and we'll be $700 billion richer- works either way!

Here's a solution which kills two birds with one stone. We can boost demand, and consequently the price, for housing in the United States and increase immigration by talented, skilled people by giving prospective immigrants a green card if they agree to buy a house.
