My article today (east coast time, that is) notes the strange and unproductive tendency of reporters to turn interviews into gotcha games. They have the ratings because they have the guest, so why not allow viewers to really understand the guest and judge them in full, rather than portray them as contestant on Who Wants to be Vice President?
