One line that stood out at me from McCain's rally."This week,
we're looking at a government-led restructuring of our home loan
agencies," he said too boos. "We need people in their homes, but we
can't turn this into a bailout for Wall Street speculators. The
CEOs who got us into this mess are walking away with over $20
million, and we're not going to let that happen."
So somehow, McCain wants to rail against a
government-led restructuring that he supports, but he wants to
allow people to stay in homes that they cannot afford, and somehow
he's going to do this without paying off loans to the banks they
own money to (because they represent Wall Street and therefore are
bad in McCain's mind), and then the federal government is going to
decide how much CEOs can earn. Got it? I know, it's giving me a
headache too.
