I don't think it was as impressive as his 2004 convention
speech, but it was serviceable and tough. It's going to come down
to what the threshold question of this election is: If it hinges on
whether people want to definitively turn the page on the Bush
years, Obama knows how to make that argument and it's one
Republicans will lose. If the electorate expects something from the
candidates' resume to prove they can deliver on the change they
promise, the Democrats have shown they can't really make that case.
