I came. I saw. iPhone.

Well, not me. But Peter Suderman and Megan McArdle have managed to survive the Arlington wilderness, and are en route to obtaining an iPhone. Correction. A 3G iPhone. According to his last message, the staffers clapped as they entered the store. "We deserve it," he writes. Yes. Yes, you do.

Yet Apple is aware of the danger of scarcity, if only from the last iPhone's drop. I'm wondering if it'll be all that hard to get my mitts on one on Monday morning.

UPDATE: James Joyner is fairly convinced that the non-tactile keyboard is a real bummer on the phone. Actually, I used to think that, but once you realize that the correction system works well, you actually type faster because you don't actually have to apply any force to buttons. It's harder to type without looking, sure, but I *like* the disincentive to text while driving.
