Well, not me. But Peter Suderman and Megan McArdle have
managed to survive the Arlington wilderness, and are en route
to obtaining an iPhone. Correction. A 3G iPhone. According to his
last message, the staffers clapped as they entered the store. "We
deserve it," he writes. Yes. Yes, you do.
Yet Apple is aware of the danger of scarcity, if only from the
last iPhone's drop. I'm wondering if it'll be all that hard to get
my mitts on one on Monday morning.
UPDATE: James Joyner is fairly
convinced that the non-tactile keyboard is a real bummer on the
phone. Actually, I used to think that, but once you realize that
the correction system works well, you actually type faster because
you don't actually have to apply any force to buttons. It's harder
to type without looking, sure, but I *like* the disincentive to
text while driving.
