If you watch the Hillary
video of the remarks, it's clear - to me, anyway -
that she actually was trying to make the point
about primary campaigns going on long, even if, as Drudge and
others are pointing out, her history is a bit weak. However
inelegant she was in bringing up RFK's assassination, she stresses
the word June when she mentions it - right on
the heels of saying that her husband had not wrapped up his
nomination until June. An ill-advised, potentially catastrophic
gaffe, given our media and political climate, but I don't think
there was anything sinister at work here.
