This is classic Clinton. The Clinton campaign is reportedly
circulating photos of Barack Obama wearing traditional Somali garb
during his five-country tour of Africa. When the Obama campaign
protested -- the pictures are likely part of an effort to persuade
voters that Barack Hussein Obama (rhymes with Osama) is a
madrassa-educated Muslim -- Hillary Clinton's campaign
manager accused them of playing to religious and ethnic
stereotypes. Maggie Williams argued, "If Barack Obama's campaign
wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali
clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed."
The Drudge Report is carrying an item
on the flap, complete with photos of President Bush and both
Clintons "dressed."
