Hunter, you ask, "Has there ever
been anybody in the modern era do so much with so
little?" Well, actually, lots of
people, starting with Obama. Of course I'm assuming your rhetorical
question isn't exclusively about money and formal
organization.
We also know Huckabee is running for vice
president. Given his Southernness, his drawing power in the former
in his home region cannot be under-estimated. I'm not at all
surprised he's done well tonight where he's done well. The question
remains whether he can connect anywhere else at this point, and
whether his limitations on that score won't doom his chances to
join McCain on the GOP ticket.
