I can't imagine why Ron Paul would endorse someone like Romney
who differs so dramatically from him on a number of fundamental
issues. War on terror? Not even close. RomneyCare/the goal of
universal coverage? No way. Federal role for education? No way. Of
the remaining contenders Thompson seems to be closest to Paul on
domestic issues and Romney perhaps the farthest away. But I'm sure
Romney would be happy to get the lift.
