First, Cindy McCain looked gorgeous. Is this petty? No, it says
they are painting a picture of the First Couple and are reading to
assume a ceremonial as well as political role. Second, McCain
clearly wants to be the leader of the party and gather in the
base-- assuring them he is devoted to GOP values and their issues
of a strong defense, low taxes, the rule of law, etc. He will have
the wind at his sails. We'll find out if it is enough.
