Americans For Tax Reform has put out a handy
chart of the candidates’ tax positions which is
here. Rudy gets positive marks in 9 of the 11 categories,
Romney gets 6 of 11, Huckabee and Thompson 5 of 11 and McCain 3 of
11. The three Democrats are in a three way tie with ZERO. The
explanation of the rating system should be read as well. I am
sure the Rudy ads are being written as we speak.
UPDATE: Rudy spokeswoman Maria Comella comments: “Unlike some other candidates, Rudy Giuliani doesn’t have to resort to pandering when it comes to the issue of cutting taxes. Rudy’s the only fiscal conservative in the race with a record of cutting taxes and a plan that calls for the largest tax cut in American history.”
