The Rudy ad citing Romney’s praise of the Mayor’s
tax cutting credentials didn’t go over well at camp Romney. They
send around the
YouTube and an article from the
Palm Beach Post. The full quote reveals that Romney said that
Mayor Bloomberg claimed the tax cuts left deficits. Is Bloomberg
now the authority on tax cuts? (Sounds McCain-ian to be arguing
that tax cuts are dangerous because they leave deficits.) I think
the Rudy people would love to have that debate, which is perhaps
why they ran the ad.(Someone
else also finds it not a good idea to be citing Bloomberg.)
