For those who find themselves in New York City today with nothing to do I offer this event listing from TimeOut New York:
On Sun 13, Metro Wrestling, New York City’s gay grappling club, convene for its annual freestyle competition. The twofold purpose of the event is to determine the best queer wrestlers in the area, and to prove one and for all that Chelsea is tougher than advertised.
FYI: That would be Chelsea the Manhattan neighborhood, not Chelsea the former First Daughter.
And on behalf of those not in New York City I demand: When are those homophobes at ESPN finally going to put freestyle gay grappling on television?
