Romney has not done nearly enough to promote his record as a private sector executive. But saying that he knows how to get rid of people who need to be gotten rid of is not going to do anything to win independent and moderate voters in a general election should he be the nominee. Not going to help him in New Hampshire, where manufacturing job losses are still a huge issue.
