Re: Huckabee Meets Russert

I and others agree with your take Phil. This was a very effective outing for Huckabee. Moreover, Thompson on Fox News Sunday gave him an assist by largely echoing Huckabee's main attack on Romney: he's a flip flopper. Although Romney has been on the offense, contending (rightly) that Huckabee lacks foreign policy chops Thompson made the point that Romney is equally bereft of experience. UPDATE: On This Week, McCain joins the chorus contending that Romney has "changed his mind on many issues" and making the best case for his own candidacy: "But most of all, people want somebody who has the experience and the judgment to lead this country. And I've got that record and they're beginning to focus on that, because the transcendent challenge of the 21st century is radical Islamic extremism, and I believe that I've shown the judgment necessary to lead, because I've been involved in every national security issue for the last 20 years that has faced this nation."
