Boston Media Pounds Romney

Meanwhile Romney gets the full Boston Globe treatment today. On this story Romney's claims a defense of ignorance for funding a huge Planned Parenthood facility. When you argue that executive acumen is your forte that is a risky tactic. The Boston Herald also raps him on the competency front in relation to a more serious issue -- the release of the murderer Daniel Tavares. (This is an uncomfortable revelation at a time Romney is smacking Hucakbee on his law and order record.) Meanwhile the Globe suggests Romney's high volume negative attacks carry risks. Now Romney can dismiss this as "just the Globe" (the Herald is bit trickier to debunk for a conservative) but the job of McCain is made that much easier when local media does much of the heavy lifting.
