Not a Lott of Choices

Folks over at Haley Barbour's old lobbying shop are saying that word out of Mississippi is that Chip Pickering, one of two Congressmen who could be a fill-in for resigning Sen. Trent Lott, is now not being considered for the slot.

Pickering has already announced his own retirement from the House.
