Kerik

Rudy of course will have to deal with the Kerik story today. So far much of the coverage and reaction seems remarkably restrained but we'll see if this lasts. Rudy was probably smart to answer questions and adopt the "I made mistakes but on balance have a good record" and "have learned from my error" approach. His gregarious demeanor and good humor (both in this episode and in the Brian Williams interview earlier in the week when asked about his critics) certainly convey a different image than his foes and even some of supporters conjure up from his days as Mayor.
