Fred Thompson is rolling out two new campaign ads that will be
airing in Iowa and nationwide. Both feature him sitting at the
counter to a small town diner, and emphasize his consistent
conservatism. I think both ads do an effective job of communicating
his message, and could remind people why they liked him in the
first place. He just needs to back it up with a more effective
overall campaign.
The first one is the longer, one minute spot that features him
meeting Ronald Reagan as a Young Republican and highlights his 100%
pro-life voting record. "we must remember that our rights come from
God, and not from government.:
The next ad, which is shorter, emphasizes "common sense
conservative principles":
