Mukasey At Risk

Rich Lowry, the Washington Post , Joe Lieberman and the Wall Street Journal(subscription required) seem to understand the Democrats obstructionism on Mukasey quite well. Will Sen. Schumer do the right thing? Perhaps he is merely looking for a statement that if Congress ever had the nerve and the votes to pass a ban on waterborading and the President signed such a measure Mukasey would enforce it. At any rate it would be nice if the entire GOP field would make their voices heard on this. One of them may face the same treatment with his nominees.
