Re: Making the Pitch

Ann Coulter's remarks have been reported elsewhere. My views on her and her affect on politics are no secret. I asked Matthew Brooks, Executive Director of the Republican Jewish Coalition (the group the major GOP presidential contenders will speak to next week) about her remarks. He was blunt that her comments were "indefensible, outlandish." He rejected the notion that her comments should be attributed to conservatives or the GOP as a whole, remarking that she is simply "in the business of being provocative." However, the GOP candidates may well be asked about this at their appearance and should have their answers ready.
