Another Goes

Senator Domenici is retiring. If we count Warner, Allard and Hagel's seats as possible flips plus GOP at risk seats in NH, Minnesota, Oregon and Alaska we're getting darn close to a filibuster proof Democratic majority. Everyone said the GOP couldn't lose six seats in 2006 but they did just that. The GOP presidential nominee in 2008 may have to polish those "divided government is a good thing" arguments.
