Hillary Attire

Over the summer the Washington Post reporter who noted Hillary's cleavage revealing attire caught some flak so I proceed with the following at my own risk. Whoever (and knowing the carefully choreographed Hillary I'm sure there was such a person) who recommended she dress in bright, cheery colors in the debates and at campaign stops deserves a gold star. In the debate last night she stood out not just because of her performance but because she seemed to pop off the screen -- brighter and more eye catching then anyone in the dull line of men's dark suits. Orange or tangerine, was it? She glowed. Why does any of this matter? Because lots of folks tune in for a few minutes or click through (or watch amid interruptions) and they get a visual impression of someone who is cheery not dour, sunny and not glum. The Hillary make over -- warmer, less screechy, and less forbidding -- is going to convince more than a few not very politically aware voters come next November that there is indeed a new Hillary.
