It is Not Just Hillary

Noted health care guru Michael Tanner explains that RomneyCare and HillaryCare are conceptually very similar. He also makes the argument --one applicable in many other contexts -- that conservatives err by when they let Democrats determine the terms of the debate(e.g. universal coverage) and buy into unconservative means (e.g. mandates) of achieving those ends. As noted yesterday, Jonathan Gruber, the man who designed MittCare and Hillary's plans, says both clients got the same advice. Gruber says Romney should embrace his inner MittCare and stop running from his great achievement in leading thie way on healthcare reform. I'm sure team Romney wishes he'd go on a year long cruise somewhere.
