Does EVERYONE deserve a lawyer? Well I
guess if the Libyans were American citizens and Thompson was the
court appointed lawyer. The response that Thompson "had no
authority to decide which clients the firm represented" is accurate
but at some point (when you are representing terrorists?) it is
fair to say that no one forces you to cash the checks and represent
the world's miscreants.
