Peter Brookes has a New York Post op-ed about the folly of Barack
Obama's "invade Pakistan" comments. I'm with him on the merits of
the case, but I have to say that I am glad Obama has made this
particular gaffe. It is nice to see that Democrats believe that
military force is part of the solution against terrorist groups
like al Qaeda. It is also nice to see that Republicans understand
that sometimes invading a country to effect regime change can
actually make things worse.
This is a foreign policy consensus I could live with.
