As David Frum puts it, Driver is going to be the “bloody shirt”
waved by the socialized medicine crowd. Frum, by the way, does an
excellent job arguing that it was parental neglect, not the health
care system, that was responsible for Deamonte’ tragic demise.
Over at the National Center blog, I examine how good socialized systems are at

Michael Cannon makes the point that government regulations here
in the U.S. actually make it harder to get good dental care by
imposing restrictions on dental hygienists.
