If Obama does capture the nomination, he'll need to pick someone
with a lot of experience to demonstrate that he would surround
himself with a good team as president. Obama has the charisma but
doesn't have the resume and Richardson has the resume but lacks
charisma. So they would complement each other well. The fact that
Bill Richardson is from New Mexico would also help because interior
west states could be a crucial swing region in 2008. Though
unlikely to garner votes among Spectator
readers, such a ticket could be formidable among the general
electorate.
