Ewww, Gray Christmas

As if we needed any further reminder, Black Christmas has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt--to both myself and the crack genre review team over at Esplatter--that a controversial premise should alone not be enough to greenlight a movie.

The film's producers should, however, send a fruit basket to their detractors at the Christian Coalition, without whose boycott far fewer people probably would have bothered to see their non-opus in the first place.

Bonus: My all time favorite Esplatter review of The Passion, from a horror fan's perspective.
