Okay, most of what I’ve seen of Sayers were highlight reels; when I was first really getting into the NFL at age 5 and 6, he already was on his way out the door because of his knee injuries. But your description of his grace is so lyrical that he MUST have been even more beautiful to watch than O.J.; to inspire such brilliantly written blog-writing, he MUST have been even more special than I remember.
